At long, long last, the SUFFOLK FUNGUS GROUP has been formed!! On a very cold February night, five of us including Michael Jordon, met to get our new group under way. The icy conditions prevented six other members making it but we were able to arange to have five outings for the coming season. It will be a very informal group, in fact, we've yet to decide on a permanant name or our aims if any, so now is the time for any new members to come on board. More information will follow soon.

As it is obviously a very shy group, perhaps it could be called the Blusher?

Nothing 'shy' about the group, why don't you join us on our first feild trip? The dates - when finalised, will be placed on the blog as soon as they are all agreed. Neil.

Hi Neil
Managed to find the site for the new group but no way of contacting save by picking up an old thread. I would be very interested to have some more details of the forays you have planned for later in the year or indeed any further information on the group. I have been collecting funghi for around 10-12 years now, mostly for the pot it has to be said and so a relatively limited number of species. I live in Woolpit close to Bury St Edmunds. Any information would be much apreciated Re: Re: Re: Re: SUFFOLK FUNGUS GROUP
